Description
The Basic Pistol course with Best Handgun Training is a 3-day course (1-day set aside for overseas travel students). Students will get the Basics of Pistol Shooting and receive an extensive lesson in safety, gun handling, the various types of pistols, the fundamentals of pistol marksmanship, various pistol firing positions, several practical exercises on the firing range, cleaning, storage, and a summary of pistol activities. This course is ideal for security professionals who have had no previous experience with firearms and would like to progress to this level.
Course Introduction
The IBSSA Macedonia DOOEL Basic Pistol Shooting Course introduces students to the knowledge, skills and attitude necessary for owning and using a pistol safely. Through this course, the students will learn about pistol parts and operation, ammunition, gun safety, pistol shooting fundamentals, and pistol shooting activities. The Basic Pistol Course will also help prepare the student for participation in other more advanced firearms training modules provided byIBSSA Macedonia DOOEL.
This is a very detailed course for Basic/intermediate level and involves 400 rounds of ammunition. The pistols used will be a mixture of Glock 17-19 and CZ 9 mm pistols.
Day 1: Safe weapon handling
Stripping & Assembling for daily cleaning
Load/unload & making weapon safe
Marksmanship principals
Stoppage Drills
Day 2: Holding/Aiming/Firing drills (live Fire)
Day 3: Tactical aspects of pistol shooting (live fire) and marksmanship/ weapon handling test.
Course Completion
The IBSSA Training Instructors provide feedback on the live-fire exercise and issue a certificate upon successful completion of the course.
The cost of this Basic Pistol course is €650.00 per person and includes all lesson materials (pistol, ammunition, targets, hearing and eye protection) and certificate. Flights from UK are by WizzAir via London Luton Direct to Skopje. The course fee includesthe return flights airport transfer and accommodation. Time will also be set aside to site visit the Macedonian Capital Skopje and dinner in the city.
